Austin Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with Austin Resource Recovery to recycle Christmas trees by having them turned in to mulch. Trees can be brought to Zilker Park from 10:00-2:00 on January 2-3 and 9-10. You can sign up to volunteer to load trees, or just bring your tree!

The Junior League of Austin is hosting their annual Coats for Kids Drive to keep children warm this winter.
The Angel Tree program works nationally to provide gifts for children in the holiday season. You can "adopt an angel" and will receive information on what to shop for. More updates to come when Angel Tree has published their "adoption" information.
Orange Santa began in 1994 as a program designed to foster a more caring university environment by providing help for members of the university community in need during the holiday season. In December 2019, Orange Santa served 300 families, including 800 children. This year, they anticipate more than 1,000 children needing gifts. Monetary donations can be made on UT's website.
